Fulfilling Lives is an eight-year Big Lottery-funded programme in 12 different areas of England aimed at improving the support to people with multiple needs including mental health, housing, offending and substance misuse.

Led by community interest company Resolving Chaos You First is the delivery team of the Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Partnership that includes the three local authorities and NHS clinical commission groups, South London and the Maudsley NHS Trust and charities Certitude, St Giles Trust and Thames Reach.

Our four main aims:

1. Improved outcomes

We are showing that a different approach can bring about better outcomes for people with multiple needs using the current system.

2. A personalised approach

We are confident that allocating individual budgets to each person we support is more effective than the current system of system allocated spending and eligibility criteria. Our new way of working is improving the quality of life of many of our beneficiaries and reducing the burden on expensive crisis care services.

3. Development of a robust business case

We building the case for investing differently in services for people with the most complex and multiple needs.

4. Shared learning

We are sharing what we learn and offer system and service redesign options that will transform future local investment.
